Cameras for your vehicle

These will also meet your needs

Sharpest (4K) vs clear (2K): 4K and 2K describe how much detail the video has. 4K has the most, so license plates and signs stay readable from farther away. 2K is clear for everyday driving and reads plates up close.

Will parking mode kill my battery?

No. Every camera we install shuts itself off before your battery gets too low to start the car. Need longer parking recording? You can add a backup battery when you book.

Does it record the whole time, or just bumps?

Your choice. We can set it up either way. Most people pick impact detection: the camera sleeps until something hits the car, then saves a clip from just before and after. Because it sleeps, it lasts much longer than recording the whole time.

Can I see where the car is and how fast it's going?

Yes. The Drone XC2 does it on its own, and a DroneMobile subscription adds live tracking and live remote view (XC2 plans). The Thinkware U3000 Pro does it with its LTE module, which includes 3 years of service. With our other cameras, add a DroneMobile tracker and use the DroneMobile app (tracker plans).

How do I get the footage after something happens?

Open the app on your phone, tap the clip, save it. We show you on install day, and it takes about a minute.
