Your installation comes with a lifetime guarantee on our workmanship. Camera warranties: VIOFO and Vueroid 2 years, Thinkware 3 years (when bought from an authorized dealer like us), DroneMobile 1 year, extended to a limited lifetime warranty while you keep a yearly DroneMobile Premium plan or higher. As authorized dealers for the brands we carry, we can take care of all of your warranty needs. 

We mount dash cams on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the rearview mirror. This keeps the camera out of your line of sight when driving. 

Yes! Our professional mobile installers provide a factory-quality fit and finish. There won’t be any unsightly wires visible after your installation.

We typically hardwire your dash cam to your fuse box. 

We will not make any permanent modifications to your vehicle or wiring, so your installation will not void your car’s warranty. 

Our dash cams will not drain your car battery. Our dash cams will not draw any power while off and will turn themselves off to preserve your battery if you use the parking mode. 

Most dash cams can record even when the car is off. Parking modes vary by brand, but most can record continuously or when movement or an impact is detected. 

It depends on the camera. Without a backup battery:

• Vueroid S1 cameras and Drone XC2: 12+ hours
• VIOFO A329 series and Thinkware U3000 PRO: up to 12 hours
• VIOFO A229 Pro: up to 3 hours, or up to 2 hours on a hybrid or EV

Every camera we install shuts itself off before your car battery gets too low to start the car. Want longer? Add a backup battery when you book.

External batteries are hard-wired to your car the same way that a dash cam is. They charge themselves when the car is running, and they power your dash cam when the car is off. Recording continuously, a battery adds up to about two days. In low-power impact-detection mode it lasts much longer.

Yes. We install most major brands, including BlackVue, Thinkware, Vantrue, VIOFO, Vueroid, 70mai and Fitcam. Buy your camera from us and you save $100 on installation. Fleet or commercial camera systems install differently: call us at (206) 552-0856.

 Yes! Check with your tint provider first to verify if the tint needs to be cured before installing your dash cam. 

 Yes, these cameras record audio. You can disable this feature on your camera, and we’ll show you how to do this during your appointment. 

 Yes, you can disable the parking mode on your camera. We will teach you how to do this during your appointment. 

It depends on the camera and how many cameras it records. Here's about how much driving each card holds before it records over the oldest footage:

• VIOFO A229 Pro: front only 8.5 / 17 / 34 hrs; front and rear 5.5 / 10.5 / 21 hrs; front, rear and interior 4 / 8.5 / 17 hrs (128 / 256 / 512GB)
• VIOFO A329 series: front only (records 4K at 60 fps) 3.7 / 7.3 / 14.7 hrs; front and rear 4.3 / 8.5 / 17.1 hrs; front, rear and interior 3.3 / 6.5 / 13.1 hrs (128 / 256 / 512GB)
• Thinkware U3000 PRO: 1.3 / 2.6 / 5.2 / 10.6 hrs (64 / 128 / 256 / 512GB)
• Vueroid S1 4K Infinite: front only 2.9 / 5.8 / 11.7 hrs; front and rear 2 / 4 / 8 hrs; front, rear and interior 1.7 / 3.3 / 6.6 hrs (128 / 256 / 512GB, estimates)

On VIOFO cameras, clips saved after an impact are kept and never recorded over.

 There are two ways to get video from your camera: 1) download your camera’s smartphone app, connect your phone to your camera, and download your videos to your phone, 2) remove the SD card from your camera and put it into your computer to retrieve your footage.

Installation times vary by vehicle, but most appointments take about two hours.
