We will not make any permanent modifications to your vehicle or wiring, so your installation will not void your cars warranty. 

Our dash cams will not drain your car battery. Our dash cams will not draw any power while off and will turn themselves off to preserve your battery if you use the parking mode. 

Most dash cams can record even when the car is off. Parking modes vary by brand, but most can record continuously or when movement or an impact is detected. 

How long parking mode lasts depends on your car battery, ambient temperature, the parking mode you chose, and your camera, and can range from a few minutes to a few hours. We do not recommend using parking mode for more than two hours at a time without an optional external battery installed. 

External batteries are hard-wired to your car the same way that a dash cam is. They charge themselves when the car is running, and they power your dash cam when the car is off. They can give you up to two days of continuous parking recording.

Yes! We install all dash cams, but we provide a $100 discount off your installation when you buy our camera. 

 Yes! Check with your tint provider first to verify if the tint needs to be cured before installing your dash cam. 

 Yes, these cameras record audio. You can disable this feature on your camera, and we’ll show you how to do this during your appointment. 

 Yes, you can disable the parking mode on your camera. We will teach you how to do this during your appointment. 

The amount of video your SD card can hold depends on the resolution and bitrate you record at, and the size of your SD card. The general ranges for SD card capacity by size is below. 

 

 There are two ways to get video from your camera: 1) download your camera’s smartphone app, connect your phone to your camera, and download your videos to your phone, 2) remove the SD card from your camera and put it into your computer to retrieve your footage.

Installation times vary by vehicle, but most appointments take about two hours.
