Matt did an excellent job hardwire installing a dual channel Viofo A229 Pro in my RAV4. Everything from the initial inquiry through to the installation and help troubleshooting firmware updates afterward was professionalism of the highest order. I hired Matt (Seattle Dash Cams) to install a Thinkware U3000 dash cam (front & rear) along with the iVolt Mini external battery on a 2021 Toyota Camry SE.  I wasn’t confident enough to do it myself due to the vehicle being new.

The day of the appointment I received 1 or 2 notifications reminding me about the appointment. Matt showed up about 5 minutes early, ready to start the job. He brought along his own tools and knowledge.

Within the first five minutes he explained to me how he was going to install each piece of the kit, where the wires were going to be routed. He had me sit in the drivers seat to make sure the front facing camera was not blocking my line of sight before he permanently placed it, as well as the back camera.

He estimated the installation would take around 2 hours. About 1 hour 22 minutes later, the installation was complete. He had me sit in the driver seat to ensure I was happy with where the front camera was placed (right side of the rear view mirror). He then reminded me where he routed the wiring for the front/rear dash cam, as well as the battery (under the drivers seat). We proceeded to sit in the car and he went a step further and explained to me I needed to install an app to connect to the dash cam to get everything up and running. Once the app was installed on my phone, we went through each and every setting in the dash cam to ensure it was setup correctly and to my liking.

Overall, Matt was extremely professional, efficient with the installation and made sure I was satisfied with everything before taking payment. He even gave me his business card and he let me know if I had any problems in the future with the cameras/battery to give him a call and he would come resolve any issues that arose.
